Qigong Roots
At its foundation, Tibetan Qigong, has only five simple forms, that with practice can change your well-being ; 3 Palms Together, Five Element Stake, One Finger Zen Dynamic Form, One Finger Zen Still Form, and Face Massage and Patting the Meridians. These foundation practices are primarily to build health and promote longevity, yet their benefits extend well beyond the physical. They are easy to learn and can be done by anyone. The practices can be done standing, sitting, or lying down, even if you just visualize them – it will have the same effect of enhancing your well-being.
Tibetan Qigong is a self-healing energy-based system that Master Wong brought to the West at the direction of his teacher, Khenpo Munsel Rinpoche. It focuses of the three secrets of healing achieved through the body as movement or posture, through speech as sacred sound, and through the mind as visualization. The quality of practice using these three secrets is a potent method for healing, and for realizing the true nature of one’s potential or being.

Qigong, by definition means the cultivation of energy, through which have the ability to balance, our vital Qi or Energy. As we train in promoting and balancing our Qi we can improve our health. You can practice just one of these forms for a lifetime and continue to grow and enhance your well-being. These practices benefit everyone!
Tibetan Qigong is a lineage-based practice which is over 1000 years old passed on from Master to students. My teacher Kay Luthi was taught by Master Wong who is instructed to come to the west by his master Khenpo Munsel Rinpoche.

About the Classes
Qigong Practices
5 Element Stake
Five Element Stake is a standing meditation Qigong Form that helps us balance the five formative energies of the body, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.
This form allows us to connect with the energy field of the universe and absorbed this energy into our system, so that healing can occur on all levels of our being physical, mental and spiritual.
This practice of five elements consists of a series of stances in which we face in the direction of the element being addressed, and visualize an image that relates to the energy of that element while facing each direction we hold our hands in a mudra which is a symbolic symbol which establishes a pathway through which energy and information can flow.
The practices based on ancient understandings of the universe Yingyang Bagua Theory, Five Element Theory, The theory of Mudra, and Three Palms Together.
One Finger Zen Dynamic Form
One finger Zen dynamic Form is an active, standing qigong that uses nine slow, gentle movements which promote relaxation and reduce stress. With regular practice this form can strengthen the immune system, clear energetic blockages along the meridians, displace negative qi, improve metabolism and the absorption of nutrients, expel toxins and balance the yin and yang energy.

Face Massage and Patting
Face Massage is an active form that works on the face and head. As this name implies, one massages all the areas of the head and face including the sense organs which awaken the qi and enlivens the senses to be brighter, clearer, and refreshed. As an example, the ears are reflections of our entire anatomy. So, by massaging the ears it affects the whole body. A few of the physical benefits of this form is the number of headaches may be reduced. blood pressure can be lowered, and metabolism stimulated. It is also possible to have rosy cheeks, a clear complexion, and skin that is softer, smoother, and more supple. A thorough qi massage of the face and ears is a pain-free healing technique that is always within reach.
Three Palms Together
Three Palms Together is a simple effective way to gather, move qi, and to bring one’s body speech and mind into balance. It is used as an opening and closing of other all if the other forms and a complete practice. On its own one can make profound changes through practice of this alone for a greater sense of well-being.
